About me

Hello! If you've made it this far into my website, thank you so much for your curiosity and interest in doing counselling with me. I’ll offer some more info about myself to help in your decision to book a session with me:

I grew up in Toronto's east end and feel deeply connected to this vibrant community, where I now feel privileged to work and contribute. Like the rest of my family, I initially pursued biology after high school, with plans to become an ecologist. However, as I navigated the complexities of mental health within my family, friends, community, and myself, I felt increasingly drawn to mental health work.

This calling led me back to school, where I earned a Master of Social Work with a focus on mental health from the University of Toronto in 2021. I am now a Registered Social Worker (836822) with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) and a proud member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers.

I have experience supporting clients with a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction (substance use and internet gaming), ADHD, social isolation, gender and sexuality issues, and the broader struggles many of us encounter in life. These personal and professional experiences have shaped my empathy, understanding, and dedication to helping others navigate their unique journeys.

I’m a queer-identified cisgender male psychotherapist and registered social worker with a passion for supporting individuals in the LGBTQ+ community. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with people at various stages of their journeys, whether exploring identity, gender/gender expression, and navigating relationships.
